Crime insurance protects a company from loss of money, securities, inventory or other property resulting from fraud events and provides coverage against:
- Internal fraud: malicious acts of personnel ‐ data theft, disclosure of sensitive information, etc...
- External fraud: malicious acts aimed at extroting money or property indirectly from companies by sophisticated subterfuges (president fraud, fraudulent transfers, etc...).
